Tours

Tourism is a big part of our marketing. Families, schoolchildren and other groups frequently come out to take tours of the farm. Tours are available Monday through Saturday. Please call (319) 939-2187 to make an appointment.

Walk-through tour

A guided tour that takes you through the process of getting milk from the farm to your table. You will see calves, the milking parlor, feeding facilities, cow barns, the creamery, our wallabies and farming equipment. All participants, $3.50; children 3 and younger, free.

Hands-on tour
All the features listed above plus feed a calf, make homemade butter, milk a cow by hand (milking times are 4 to 6:30 p.m.) and perhaps pet a wallaby. Refreshments are included. All participants, $5.00.

School or daycare tour
$3.50 per person; adults/chaperones free.

Bus tour
$5.00 per person; drivers free.
